Use of the StaffMeets service is subject to full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users and other persons who access or use the service, whether as Candidates or Recruiters.

If you do not fully accept these terms, you must not access the platform or use our services.

2. Service description

StaffMeets is a technology intermediation platform dedicated to Discord communities, gaming servers (Minecraft, FiveM), web projects, and any creative community requiring volunteer or paid staff. Our service allows:

3. Registration & account

Access to Dashboard features (profile, applications, projects, jobs) requires creating an account authenticated via Discord OAuth2. By creating an account, you:

• Certify that you are at least 13 years old (minimum age required by Discord).
• Authorize StaffMeets to retrieve via Discord your identifier, username, avatar and email address.
• Authorize StaffMeets to automatically add you to the Discord support server via the guilds.join permission.
• Guarantee that the information you provide (bio, skills, portfolio) is accurate and belongs to you.
• Are solely responsible for all actions performed under your account.

The quality of our platform relies on mutual respect. By using StaffMeets, you firmly commit to respecting the following rules:

All content you publish on StaffMeets (project descriptions, jobs, cover letters, profile bio) remains your property. However, by publishing it, you grant StaffMeets a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display this content as part of providing the service.

You guarantee that the content you publish:

• Does not violate any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
• Is not defamatory, obscene, threatening, or illegal.
• Does not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code.

We reserve the right to remove any content violating these rules, without notice and without obligation to justify.

6. Limitation of liability

StaffMeets acts exclusively as a host and technical intermediary between Candidates and Recruiters. As such:

• We are not parties to any agreements (volunteer or paid) concluded between a Recruiter and a Candidate following a connection made via the platform.
• We do not conduct thorough verification of the accuracy or legitimacy of projects, jobs, or profiles published. Users are solely responsible for the content they publish.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be permanently available, interrupted, or error-free, although we continuously work on its improvement.
• We are not responsible for indirect damages, data loss, or harm resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.

7. Contact & modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modifications will take effect as soon as they are published on this page. If you continue to use StaffMeets after these changes, this will constitute implicit acceptance of the new version. We encourage you to check this page regularly.
